White Collar Season Finale Review (Spoiler)

The White Collar Season Finale "Under the Radar" Review- Please Rate and Comment!!!The White Collar Season Finale was true to form, a heart-wrenching thriller with a cliff- hanger that leaves you begging for more. The season wraps up with Neal and Peter hot on the heels of Vincent Adler, the man responsible for Kate?s death. Mozzie has finished creating the fractal, but cannot seem to get a correct reading. In order to narrow down the search, they pursue their only lead, Alex Hunter. However, Alex is missing and the group quickly finds out that Adler is responsible. While retracing Alex?s steps, Neal and Peter are kidnapped by Adler and taking to an old warehouse which houses the WWII sub that the group has been search for all season. Adler explains that the ship is rigged with bombs. Neal and Peter are ordered to disarm the ship, and with a little help from Alex, succeed. Inside the ship they find an art collection worth billions, spoils collected by the Nazi?s. Vincent instructs his men to get rid of the three, but thankfully Neal grabs the fractal before they are forced to leave the ship. Facing death once again, they are put into a dry dock, bound hand and foot, with water filling up fast. Alex saves the day after Neal removes the hidden knife from her person, but they still have to get past the armed guards.

In the last episode things got hot between Neal and Sara and it appears that their romance may continue. When Neal misses his date, Sara and Mozzie begin to worry. The rest of the group begin searching the city for Neal and Peter and thanks to the fractal?s radio signal, they find them just in time. They quickly arrange a sting and go to the warehouse full force. Neal is left behind, and begins searching the other warehouses only to be put in front of Vincent?s gun. Their conversation is interrupted when the building next to them begins exploding. Neal keeps Adler from running into the burning building only to have Vincent turn on him with every intention of killing Neal. Peter?s shot from behind kills Adler just in time.

Of course we had to be left hanging for the final episode and this season finale was no disappointment. Peter watches, as a piece of the burning building falls at his feet. The charred paper is from a painting that Neal had in his apartment, and Peter, realizing what Neal did, is quick to call him on it. Neal replies to Peter, "You think I did this? Prove it."

Neal walks away from Peter leaving us to wonder if Neal really did steal the collection. Back at Neal?s apartment, a key and an address lead Neal to a warehouse room filled with the entire collection from the U-boat. A smile spreads over Neal?s face as he stands in the middle room, taking in the glorious site of all that he had been searching for and the reason for Kate?s death. Now the question we must ask is did Neal really turn on Peter? Has Neal gone back to his con man ways or has Peter?s influence changed him and will Neal and Peter ever trust each other again? All these questions and more will be answer this summer on the USA Network.
